TMAS™ Remote Monitoring and Control System
System Overview
The TMAS is the powerful system for remote monitoring and control
applications. The system consists of the remote TMAS node, TMAS
server, TMAS - Pro PC based tool, various network connections and
peripherals supports. The TMAS node can operate in the standalone
mode and yet provides SMS messaging to the user via the GSM wireless
network. The TMAS server, a web based management solution, contains
the node database, report management, SMS messages, monitoring and
control module.
Operation
The TMAS node can be managed from web application or a PC based
management tool. The management refers to the node details, input/output
signals properties, list of mobile numbers, messages etc. When an
alarm is triggered, an alert SMS message will be sent to the pre-defined
user and the data center if it is configured to do so. Upon acknowledgement,
the user can mute or perform other control action via the mobile
phone. All events and acknowledgement will be logged. The duty officers
at the Service Center will be alerted and he can perform any monitoring
and control actions via the web browser. The site servicemen, either
alerted by the automated SMS messaging system, or activated by the
Service Center, can be dispatched to the site to investigate the
problem.
